General description of the editor command :

The DESL "editor" command allows the user to specify the name of the editor to be used to edit all applicable files while in a DESL session. The item which immediately follows "editor" on the same line is the name of the editor. Currently, the choices are :

Deditor (default internal DESL editor)
vi
any other available editor which can be executed as "editor_name file"
