( CE) Details concerning the DESL stop command.

(See example(s) of the use of the stop command.)
[Jump to the list of available options.]
General description of the stop command :

The "stop" command will end a DESL session if the DESL execution mode is purely interactive. If the input is being processed via the "input" command or if all of the input is being read from some alternate input file; ie, DESL is being executed in a batch mode, "stop" will NOT end the DESL session. (See the "stopn" command.) Additionally, if

  1. there is a DESLX environment variable is set to a path
  2. in the directory in which DESL is being executed there is a file named DESLEXIT
which contains legitimate DESL input, this input file will be executed BEFORE the session really ends. The hierarchy of precedence is 1 then 2, above.

This can be a useful method of doing one or more "standard" tasks, such as "cleanup", at the end of each DESL session.
