This execution of "cleanup" will eliminate all files which
have been created up to this point in the DESL session which are
marked as files to "PURGE at cleanup". (See the
files command.)
This execution of "cleanup" will eliminate all files which
have been created up to this point in the DESL session which are
marked as files to "PURGE at cleanup" except those whose
names appear in the "files" list : "gen1", "gen2", "gen3",
"gen4" and "newx1". For these files, for the present execution
of "cleanup" only, the fate associated with each is reversed,
ie, if a file's fate is "to be RETAINED", then it will be
eliminated, and vice versa.
