The DESL system is normally used in a text-based command-line entry mode. This is most often the mode of choice for DESL users who have experience using the system.
For those who are not familiar with this system a Tcl/Tk-based graphical user interface (gui) will in the future be available as a more "user-friendly" interface to DESL. (See the requirements information.)
