HG) Example(s) of the use of the DESL
overstore command.
os
If the current state of being able to overstore existing files
is "on", ie, the user can overstore existing files, then the
state is reset to not being able to overstore files which
already exist. (In the functions, when a data file is created
but cannot be saved under its specified name because of a
conflict with respect to the "overstore" state, then the
the data file's name is changed to be of the type "gen",
or other prefix, (see "translate"), plus
a unique numeric suffix.
os on
In this example, the state of being able to overstore files
is turned "on"; ie, until changed, data files can be overstored.
