TetrUSS Support Plans

 

ViGYAN's in-house staff of TetrUSS experts is available for on-going consultation on the effective use of each of the component codes within TetrUSS. ViGYAN currently offers the following support plans:

 

Plan 010 - Post-training Support:

This support plan is extended FREE OF CHARGE to individuals who have been through a ViGYAN TetrUSS training course; it provides 45 days of unlimited phone and e-mail support. Users wishing to extend their coverage to a full year of support are encouraged to do so by enrolling in Plan 020 (see below) any time during the 45-day coverage period. In fact, customers upgrading to the full-year support option (Plan 020) within the 45-day Post-training Support coverage period receive a 10% discount on the full-year support plan cost.

This plan includes:

  • 45 calendar days of coverage (beginning immediately after training course).
  • Subscription to the ViGYAN TetrUSS newsletter for the latest TetrUSS updates during coverage period.
  • Unlimited phone and e-mail contact with TetrUSS support team during coverage period.
  • Generation of complete volume grids when necessary in order to diagnose/troubleshoot problems.

This plan does not include:

  • Resolution of issues related to the installation of TetrUSS on user systems.
  • Any CAD prep work required to get geometry files into GridTool (the support team will, however, provide guidance/tips on getting geometry files to successfully import into GridTool).
  • Running partial or full USM3D solutions (i.e., support on USM3D is limited to questions on/examination of input files, interpretation of error messages, assistance with solution post-processing).

Plan 020 - One Year On-going Support:

This support plan allows TetrUSS users a full year of continuous, unlimited phone and e-mail support. This plan is best suited for users who plan to have TetrUSS as an integral part of their CFD arsenal, and wish to receive updates on the latest TetrUSS news and documentation.

 

NOTE: This support option is available to any user who has had TetrUSS training in the past (from ViGYAN's TetrUSS training courses, or prior training classes from the TetrUSS team at NASA Langley Research Center).

 

This plan includes:

  • 12 months of continuous coverage.
  • Subscription to the ViGYAN TetrUSS newsletter for the latest TetrUSS updates during coverage period.
  • Unlimited phone and e-mail contact with TetrUSS support team during coverage period.
  • Generation of complete volume grids when necessary in order to diagnose/troubleshoot problems.

This plan does not include:

One Year On-going Support Plan cost: $1700

 

NOTE: Please be advised that the One Year On-going Support Plan fee ($1700) is a per-contact fee, and is not intended as a plan for providing support to an entire group or department. As such, customers interested in using this plan as a means of obtaining access to support for more than one individual are required to designate a single point of contact through whom support questions should be channeled. This greatly facilitates our ability to address support questions in a timely fashion. Customers requiring support for a larger number of individuals, or indeed a higher level of support than that offered by this particular support plan are encouraged to contact us, so that we can come up with a solution to best suit your particular support needs.

 

Plan 030 - Project Support:

This support plan is designed to be flexible, allowing clients a considerably wider range of support on their specific projects. The coverage level and duration are entirely customer-driven, based on each customer's specific needs.

 

Examples of support efforts of this type might include:

  • Full grid generation to client specifications.
  • Full USM3D flow solution to client specifications (assuming access to suitable computing resources, should in-house ViGYAN resources be unsuitable or inadequate).
  • Full grid generation, USM3D flow solution and solution post-processing to client specifications.

NOTE: Each of the codes comprising TetrUSS is developed, maintained, and distributed by NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC). As such, any software bugs (or requests for additional functionality) that are identified in the course of providing user support for TetrUSS will be immediately reported to the NASA LaRC TetrUSS development team for resolution.
