ViGYAN, Inc. provides both technical expertise and an experimental facility for use with respect to wind tunnel testing. It's low speed facility can handle small 3-D models and perform data acquisition of both force and pressure data.

Technical support for in variety of experimental or operational environments is also available.

Facilities

The ViGYAN Low Speed Wind Tunnel facility is housed in the Aero-Fluids Laboratory building located behind ViGYAN offices in the Hampton, Virginia Langley Research and Development Park. The facility, designed and fabricated by ViGYAN personnel, has been in operation since 1988, serving the aerodynamic testing requirements of Government establishments and private companies, in addition to supporting the on-going internal R&D activities of ViGYAN. It has recently undergone a major renovation of its model support, electronics, and data acquisition systems.

We are now members of the Subsonic Aerodynamic Testing Association (SATA).

Data Acquisition

ViGYAN, Inc. provides services in aeronautics R&D, scientific and engineering software development, and computer technology support. ViGYAN operations include the ViGYAN Low Speed Wind Tunnel. This Wind Tunnel has recently undergone a major renovation of its model support, electronics and data acquisition (DAQ) systems.

Although the DAQ briefly described herein has been applied to the wind tunnel, this is not a necessary requirement. The ViGYAN DAQ system could be implemented in other appropriate environments.

ViGYAN is experienced in all aspects of wind tunnel testing support. We operate our own low speed facility near our Hampton, Virginia offices and support a number of facilities at the NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC).
