The DESL extra procedure allows a user to produce a stand-alone executable which can be used to process SIF files, much like the DESL program proper. The use of the provided .OBJ (PC) or .o (Unix) file, however, requires the Compaq Visual Compiler or Unix Fortran compilers, respectively., The Compaq Fortran compiler PC resource which may not be available to everyone who uses DESL.
ViGYAN has available a consultation service for a flat rate of $120 per hour (billed in 10 minute increments) to provide the compilation and advisory (source code adjustment) capacities to accept user source code with clear intent (provided by user) and return correct source code and an executable ready to be used. An account can be established per subscription user which can make charges to a major credit card for time services remdered. An accounting log indicating the work done and associated charges made will be emailed to the user periodically.
